1. What rewards do I get for referring a friend?
Rewards vary depending on the program's terms. Typically, you may receive e-Touch and Go reload pin, e-vouchers of well-known brand such as Grab/Lazada/Shopee or selected Toyota Gazoo Merchandise.
2. How can I share my unique referral code?
You can share your referral code via email, social media, or direct messaging (whatsapp). Simply copy the code and send it to your friends.
3. Is there a limit to how many friends I can refer?
No, there is no limit to the number of friends you can refer. Refer as many people as you like. The more friends you refer, the more rewards you can earn.
4. Will my friend receive the reward?
Yes, your friend will receive the reward too. It is "win-win" situation where both referrer & referred customers will receive the rewards. However, the rewards vary depending on the program's terms.
5. Will I be notified if the friend I referred is a successful referral /business?
If you're our EZ Connect app user, you will be receiving a SMS notification upon the value of voucher being credited to your app account. 7. Can I refer myself?
No, self-referrals are not allowed. The program is designed to encourage sharing with new users. For self-referrals for existing Toyota Capital customers, it will be rewarded under our Loyalty Program.
8. What happens if my friend doesn't use or forget my referral code?
It can happen: a friend might forget to use the unique referral code that the referrer sent. To ensure you both receive rewards, your friend must use your unique referral code when signing up a loan or purchase an insurance from Toyota Capital. If they don't, the referral won't be able to track.
9. How can I track my referrals and rewards?
You can contact our Customer Service Careline 03-27278880 or WhatsApp to our representative Suzy / Faiz 012-3366305 to check all your referred cases or rewards.
10. Is there any expiry date for my referral rewards?
Some referral rewards may have expiration dates. Please check the terms and conditions of each reward at the EZ Connect app or in the email. Kindly be informed E-voucher is valid for one-time usage only. Unredeemed e-Voucher will expire after the validity date. No cancellation, refunds or conversion into cash alternatives are allowed for any order value upon the redemption of the e-voucher.

12. Can I (referrer) combine my referral reward with other promotions or accumulate my rewards to qualify for my preferred merchandise?

1. Eligibility
- The referral program is open to existing customers of Toyota Capital Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Kinto Malaysia who hold an active account. This program is also open those customers who had settled their accounts 2 years ago.
- Referred individuals can be our existing Toyota Capital Malaysia customers, Kinto subscribers or new customers who do not currently have an account with us.
- The following group are not eligible for the program: -
a) Staff of Toyota Capital Malaysia who have enjoyed the 5% rebate commission for the successful insurance purchases and qualified for the incentive scheme.
b) Sales Advisors form Toyota, Perodua & Panel Used Car Dealers.
c) Staff of Toyota Capital Malaysia (Sales Team - Auto Finance Executive) whose job task are to solicitor business from Toyota /Perodua / Used Car portfolio dealers.
2. Referral Process
If you're an eligible referrer, you can refer friends and family members by the following options: -
(a) Immediately if you're our EZ Connect app user by sharing your unique referral code which can be obtained at your app's profile page.
(b) If you're not EZ Connect app user, you can proceed with the registration in "item 3" and we shall provide the unique code for your sharing to friends/family members.
3. Referral Reward
- Both the referrer and the referred individual will receive a referral reward as specified by Toyota Capital Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
- Referral rewards may include e-Touch and Go reload pin, e-vouchers of well-known brand such as Grab/Lazada/Shopee or selected Toyota Gazoo Merchandise as determined by Toyota Capital Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
- The referral reward will be credited to the accounts of both parties within 14 days after the referred individual loan is successfully disbursed, upon receipt of the insurance premium, enforcement of insurance policy or meets any additional criteria.
- The contact number, email address and unique referral code ported over by the referred customer must be the same as number registered in the EZ Connect app during the redemption process in order to for the referrer to earn a reward.
- Referral program rewards are granted on a-per account basis.
4. Limitations
- Self-referrals are not allowed and will result in disqualification from the program.
- Toyota Capital Malaysia and Kinto Malaysia reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time without prior notice.
5. Fraud Prevention
- Referrals suspected of being fraudulent, abuse, misuse, harassment, inappropriate activity or made in violation of these terms and conditions will be disqualified.
- Toyota Capital Malaysia and Kinto Malaysia reserve the right to investigate any referral activity and take appropriate action if fraudulent behaviour is detected.
6. Tax Implications
- Referral rewards may be subject to taxation. It is the responsibility of the participants to report and pay any applicable taxes (if applicable)
7. General Conditions
- By participating in the referral program, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
- Toyota Capital Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Kinto Malaysia reserve the right to modify the terms and conditions of the referral program at any time.
- All decisions made by Toyota Capital Malaysia and Kinto Malaysia regarding the referral program are final and binding.
8. Privacy
- Personal information collected as part of the referral program will be used in accordance with Toyota Capital Malaysia Sdn Bhd's privacy policy.
