At Toyota Capital Malaysia Sdn Bhd (TCAPM), we're dedicated to building a greener and more sustainable future. On September 13, 2023, our TCAPM ESG team conducted a social experiment to gather insights from our staff on environmental matters and the response was incredibly encouraging!

It's heartening to witness the collective enthusiasm to make a positive impact. Together, we have the power to effect change. Let's reaffirm our commitment to the environment by taking small, meaningful steps to reduce plastic consumption.

Our mission is to create a cleaner, greener, and healthier world for generations to come. We invite you to join us on this journey towards reducing single-use plastics and protecting our planet's future.

Life on Land - Volunteer Work at the Animal Shelter

On October 22, 2022, 11 associates of TCAPM visited PAWS Animal Welfare Society in Petaling Jaya as part of our CSR Projects - Life on Land. During the visit we helped to walk the dogs, gave the dogs a shower and cleaned the cat's ears. Unfortunately, not all the dogs managed to get a shower as it started to rain.

From this activity, volunteers learned about animal care and hygiene, including providing a clean environment, showing love by spending time and walking with them. We also learned about past incidence of unwanted dogs and cats that were abandoned by their pet owner.

The moral of the event shows that a pet owner needs to be responsible and be a good animal caretaker by giving them unconditional love because the animal also provides love, protection, and companionship to the owner. We also raised awareness about anti-animal cruelty within the company. We look forward to other activities in the future.

We managed to get a total of 59 volunteer donors during the donation drive.

CARE KNOWS NO BARRIERS!

TCAPM recently formed up a Corporate Social Responsibilities committee, 'TCAPM Eco-Friendly Kazoku (family in Japanese)' in July 2019. One of the core objectives is to contribute to developing and improving the quality of life of the local community and society at large.

On 22 February 2020, TCAPM in collaboration with Kechara Soup Kitchen participated in the Food Bank Activity. The volunteers were divided into teams where they delivered dry food provision to 35 families within Klang Valley area. Besides delivering food provision to the assigned families, volunteers also took this opportunity to understand the needs of each family and assisted them with some additional requests i.e. shower their pets, explained the functions of supplements and etc.

This activity was meaningful to all the associates, not just merely building cross departments teamwork spirit, but also contributes to the society. The Management would like to thank all volunteers as this event was not possible without their participations. We hope TCAPM will be able to experience such meaningful event again in the near future.
