Contributed by TCAPM, Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG)
On 15 November 2025, a total of 25 TCAPM staff volunteered at Galeri Animal Malaysia, an animal shelter dedicated to caring for rescued and abandoned animals. This CSR initiative was designed to support the shelter's mission while giving our employees the opportunity to contribute directly to animal welfare.
Throughout the day, our team assisted with tasks such as feeding, cleaning enclosures, and providing companionship to the animals - particularly the cats and other small creatures under the shelter's care. The experience allowed our staff to better understand the importance of responsible pet ownership.
The outcome was heartening: the animals received extra attention and care, while our staff gained a deeper appreciation for compassion and teamwork. Many shared how meaningful it was to see the immediate impact of their efforts, and how the program reinforced our company's values of empathy and responsibility.

On 19 July 2025, our company organized a Traffic Safety Awareness Program at Rumah Kasih Harmoni Paya Jaras, dedicated to empowering children with essential road safety knowledge. The initiative aimed to instil safe habits from a young age, ensuring that children understand the importance of using pedestrian crossings, wearing helmets when cycling, and fastening seatbelts when traveling in vehicles.
The program featured interactive workshops, engaging demonstrations, and fun activities such as safety-themed games and quizzes, making the learning experience enjoyable and memorable for the young participants.
The outcome was inspiring, with children showing enthusiasm and actively participating in discussions about traffic safety.
This initiative reflects our belief that children are the foundation of a safer future. By equipping them with knowledge and tools early on, we help nurture responsible road users who will carry these values into adulthood. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Rumah Kasih Harmoni Paya Jaras for their support and to all volunteers who made this program a success.
Beach Cleaning & Mangrove Seed Planting

At the heart of our CSR program, aligned with our ESG commitments, is a dedication to environmental sustainability and community engagement. Our team of 38 enthusiastic volunteers took action by participating in a significant beach cleaning and mangrove seed planting initiative with 100.5kg trash collected and 316 mangrove seeds planted.
Armed with gloves and trash bags, they diligently cleaned up debris from the shoreline of Pantai Bagan Lalang, significantly improving the health of our local beaches. In addition to the beach clean-up, our team engaged in planting mangrove seeds, a crucial step in preserving coastal ecosystems.
Their efforts not only enhanced the natural beauty of the area but also contributed to a safer environment for marine life and help to restore these valuable ecosystems for future generations.

Life on Land - Volunteer Work at the Animal Shelter
Contributed by TCAPM, Corporate Social Responsibilities
On October 22, 2022, 11 associates of TCAPM visited PAWS Animal Welfare Society in Petaling Jaya as part of our CSR Projects - Life on Land. During the visit we helped to walk the dogs, gave the dogs a shower and cleaned the cat's ears. Unfortunately, not all the dogs managed to get a shower as it started to rain.
From this activity, volunteers learned about animal care and hygiene, including providing a clean environment, showing love by spending time and walking with them. We also learned about past incidence of unwanted dogs and cats that were abandoned by their pet owner.
The moral of the event shows that a pet owner needs to be responsible and be a good animal caretaker by giving them unconditional love because the animal also provides love, protection, and companionship to the owner. We also raised awareness about anti-animal cruelty within the company. We look forward to other activities in the future.

CARE KNOWS NO BARRIERS!

TCAPM recently formed up a Corporate Social Responsibilities committee, 'TCAPM Eco-Friendly Kazoku (family in Japanese)' in July 2019. One of the core objectives is to contribute to developing and improving the quality of life of the local community and society at large.
On 22 February 2020, TCAPM in collaboration with Kechara Soup Kitchen participated in the Food Bank Activity. The volunteers were divided into teams where they delivered dry food provision to 35 families within Klang Valley area. Besides delivering food provision to the assigned families, volunteers also took this opportunity to understand the needs of each family and assisted them with some additional requests i.e. shower their pets, explained the functions of supplements and etc.
This activity was meaningful to all the associates, not just merely building cross departments teamwork spirit, but also contributes to the society. The Management would like to thank all volunteers as this event was not possible without their participations. We hope TCAPM will be able to experience such meaningful event again in the near future.
